Q: How are your pieces made?
A: Everything you see here is made entirely by hand on a potter's wheel or handbuilt. No slip molds or presses are used. This means that each piece is unique and has its own character. So if you order several pieces in the same style, each one will vary slightly in shape and size. That's the beauty of handmade as opposed to the uniformity of mass produced.
Q: What clay do you use?
A: I use a range of clays from New Zealand, Australia and Japan. Every now and then I might try something different like German or Korean clay.

Q: Do you take commissions for special pieces?

Q: Can I put the tableware in the dishwasher or microwave?
A: Absolutely. For the best longevity, washing by hand is recommended but if you don't have time, the dishwasher will be just fine.
